Challenge Problem 9/17-9/21

Place the digits 1 through 9 in the spaces so that each side of the triangle equals 19.

  1. ANSWER: Numbers may rotate around the triangle, but the 1, 4, and 7 must always be placed in the corners.

    Begin by making a list of the sets of four numbers that equal 19. Then guess and test for the correct order.
