Are you on FIRE?

PCMS has an after school program starting on Monday that is open to ALL students!

FIRE is our upcoming after school program.  There will be homework time each day for about 30-45 minutes.  You will also get to participate in hands on activities and games.  There will also a snack served.  It will be a lot of fun and something do after school.

FIRE is everyday until 5. There are sign up forms in the office if you're interested in signing up.

There is also bus transportation when FIRE is over if you're interested.
The following places are drop off spots:

Cleveland and Walnut
Smelter and Washington
4th and Highland
13th and Rouse

16th and Rouse

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll find the answer! This is a great opportunity for all of us at PCMS!

YOU may choose YOUR FAVORITE way to solve the problems in your homework, but you MUST show your work.

We've had a mini-vacation from school these past few days and I'm missing all of my wonderful seventh graders. Since I can't teach you, I thought I could share some YouTube videos about percents with you!

Extra! Extra! Extra! Extra Credit, that is!

Extra Credit! 
Today we related percent proportions and percent of a number to nutrition labels, advertisements, and graphs. Send me two SPECIFIC (and different) ways you can use percent of a number in life. More points for originality...hint, don't tell me tax, tip, and discount.

You can turn answers in via Facebook message, email, or on paper in class.

There are 4 red pencils, 4 blue pencils, and 3 yellow pencils in a bag.  A pencil is picked from the bag and then put back.  A second pencil is picked. What is the probability that the first pencil is yellow and the second blue?
