Challenge Problem 9/4-9/7

What is the least number that leave a remainder of 3 when divided by 5, a remainder of 2 when divided by 4, a remainder of 1 when divided by 3, and a remainder of 0 when divided by 2?

    Working with each clue, s you can determine that:
    (1) it is an even number
    (2) the last digit is 8.
    Test the numbers 8, 18, 28, 38, etc., to find one that has both a remainder of 2 when divided by 4 and a remainder of 1 when divided by 3.
