Challenge Problem 9/17-9/21
Here's this week's
challenge problem! Solve this problem with family or friends and bring your

Absolute Value Videos - Lesson 9/14
Today in class we began our chapter on Absolute Value! In both class, Chapter 2 is about Integers and begins the same way.
Here's a recap of today's lessons:
Integers are the positive and negative whole numbers on a number line.
Absolute Value is the distance a number is from zero on a number line.
Here are a couple Khan Academy videos about Integers and Absolute Value for your viewing pleasure. If you have homework that you're working on this weekend and need a little brain refresh, these should do the trick!
Here's one I took in class of one of your brave classmates demonstrating how to "walk to the number line," remember this is a great strategy to use when finding the absolute value. We can imagine a number line in our heads and "walk it" or you can draw one out and use your finger!

Enter the code given in class for your hour.
Take the Pre-Test.
After the test, use your online textbook to work on your chapter 2 glossary (this is due tomorrow).
